How to Apply a Temporary Tooth Gem

Steps to applying a temporary tooth gem:

1. Clean the tooth for 10-20 seconds with a dental etch. Then wipe off. Make sure to remove all the left over product. Rinse off any excess that doesn't come off. Make sure the tooth is dry before continuing.

2. Apply a dental bonding agent to the tooth and the back of the tooth gem

3. Take your UV curing light and cure your tooth with the bonding agent. Then cure the bond on the back of the tooth gem. This should be a quick couple of seconds.

4. Carefully place the tooth gem on the tooth and align it to where you want it placed.

5. UV cure the entire area of the tooth you are working on. Depending on your strength of your curing light small keychain ones should be on for at least 3mins. Handheld curing lights can range anywhere from 5 to 10 seconds.
